1) About the whole Wonder Years thing, you could not be more correct. Anxiety/Depression is a trend now, as fucked up as that is. 2) "You sound like you enjoy Of Mice and Men" made me laugh pretty hard, so for both of those points, I thank you.

I think it’s hilarious/fucked up at the same time. Which is what that whole post was about.

First off. You give a fuck about music more than anyone I know. It's all you post on your social networks. Whether it's expressing your love for a band, or showing people a new band. Secondly, I'm a huge The Wonder Years fan, and I can say I directly relate to some of the issues. The only people who should be getting offended by that post are the ones who jumped on the bandwagon.

This x3.

I dont understand why everyone is getting so butthurt over your text post. If you like the wonder years you like them for your own reasons. Some people have it anxiety/depression some don't but still can relate to some stuff. There is no need to defend yourself unless you are one of the people that make up problems just to be in the scene which is really stupid. I got you bro.

This.

Oh man how dare you have an opinion on something that is so true?! You're such a horrible TWY fan! All those people who aren't sad anymore, man, how do you think they feel?! They just don't wanna be sad and wanna fit in man!

This x2.

Lol fuck that guy for real SORRY MUSIC HAVE KEPT ME FUCKING SANE AND IM NOT COOL ENOUGH TO NOT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT MUSIC HAHA.

Look guys. I don’t give a fuck about music because I said a band has some fans who make up issues just to relate.

This is funny…

Because I like The Wonder Years. But people are too worried about who relates to this band more than the other to realize I was just pointing out that there’s kids out there who make up problems just to join the crowd.

rightbackwhereyouleft asked:
Why do you think that though? Just because a good amount of fans of a band have some sort of issue, and can relate to that issue with a singer that clearly went through more shit than any of can imagine (I know fans who are clinically depressed/take anxiety medicine, and some who are the happiest people I know) and they start to relate with this band, this group of people, and have somewhere to turn. It doesn't mean they did it for attention. It just means they actually found s/t to relate to.

I never said there wasn’t people who actually had these issues. My point is that a good bit of fans of the band will now make up anything to try and get in contact with the band. I didn’t personalize it to any certain person.
